Exported Survey & Vote and MS Excel Import - newlines

An export from a Survey or Vote macro that contains multiple lines (in comments, for example) may render without the newlines in MicroSoft Excel.

This is not a limitation of the Survey & Vote macros. This is a limitation of MS Excel.

We have tested importing Survey & Vote multiline data into Libreoffice and OpenOffice without problems. We have reproduced the trouble with importing into MS Excel. Google Sheets will import correctly if you specify the delimiter is a semi-colon.

WORKAROUND:

Many people think the best workaround is to import CSV into Libreoffice or google sheets or … and then save as an MS Office doc and then open that in MS Excel.
