How can I migrate the page activity for each page?

How can I see the legacy workflow document activity prior to migration for each page in my Cloud site?

Currently, the document activity (previously page activity) for each page is not migrated to Cloud. However, the current workflow state is included in the migration.

Pages with permission restrictions will not be migrated successfully. These pages are identified in the Atlassian Migration Assistant pre-checks and must have the page restrictions removed for a successful migration of the workflow state.

Solution

If the workflow history is required, one option is to download the document activity as a CSV file for each page. This is a manual task and although it can be a scripted operation, the scripting may not be simple.

If your organizational requirements include a Compliance/Regulatory audit, you may need to keep your legacy Confluence server instance so auditors can review the historic workflow history/document activity for your content.

In cloud, document activity is accessed using the Document Activity option in the page tools menu.
