Migration of pages with page restrictions

The current workflow state is not migrated for pages with page restrictions

  • unable to Edit

  • unable to Edit/View

  • pages with inherited restrictions

These pages are displayed in the App vendor checks screen in the Atlassian Migration Assistant as part of the pre-migration checks.

With the release of Comala Document Management v6.17.7+. The Atlassian Migration Assistant pre-check App vendor checks screen now lists affected pages. These are detailed in a downloadable CSV file.

To identify pages with restrictions

  • Run the Atlassian Migration Assistant

Pages with restrictions are displayed in the App vendor checks screen

  • choose View app vendor checks

  • choose Download report to save the CSV report file

  • remove restrictions from the listed pages

  • choose the Refresh button in the App vendor checks

There is no need to run all the migration checks again.

Before any migration activity, update to the latest release of Comala Document Management and the latest version of the Atlassian Migration Assistant.

If using Comala Document Management v6.17.6 or earlier and have not updated to the latest Atlassian Migration Assistant the App vendor checks screen only shows a permissions error message.
