Why can't I find my Comala workflows in my Cloud site after migration?
Comala Document Management workflows are not included in the migrated data.
Our integration with the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant only migrates the ‘current workflow state' for the page or blog post.
Three bundled workflows are included with the Cloud app. These are added to the document management dashboard in each space in the cloud.
Any other workflow must be created in the space settings document management dashboard.
Workflows in Comala Document Management Cloud, including the bundled workflows, have different functionalities to the server workflow. Test and validate a cloud app workflow in a test space before using it in a production space.
Solution
As Comala workflows in Confluence Cloud use a JSON format rather than the 'markup' format used in server, custom workflows must be recreated using the workflow builder visual editor in the cloud app.
if you are using custom workflows, these can be translated using workflow translator for Cloud accessible through workflow builder in the server app (if enabled by your administrator in server)
The workflow translator cannot translate all elements of a server workflow to cloud-compatible code. The unsupported elements for translation are highlighted for each workflow translation action.
