My entries
This screen acts as the central hub for managing how your time entries flow between Toggl Track and Jira. Here's a breakdown of the functionalities:
Toggl workspaces – If you have multiple workspaces in Toggl Track, you can use this dropdown menu to select the specific workspaces you want to sync entries from. This helps narrow down the list and focus on relevant entries.
Start date & End date – Refine the timeframe for the entries you want to view. Simply choose the desired date range using these calendar boxes.
Search box – Need to find a specific entry quickly? Utilize the search bar by entering keywords or the title of the time entry you're looking for.
Sync (..) – This button initiates the synchronization process between Toggl Track and Jira. The number in parenthesis indicates the current number of unsynced entries displayed on the screen. Clicking this button triggers the sync for all unsynced entries within the chosen filters.
We recommend checking the Synchronize automatically option in personal settings, as it synchronizes entries for the user every hour.
Entry List: This section displays a list of your time entries based on the applied filters (workspace, date range, search). Each entry provides details like:
Issue Name: The title you assigned to the time entry in Toggl Track.
Date: The date the entry was created in Toggl Track.
Duration: The total length of time recorded for the entry.
Status: This indicates the synchronization status of the entry. It will show either "Synced" (already integrated with Jira) or "Unsynced" (not yet integrated with Jira).
Link button: Clicking this button allows you to manage the individual sync status of the entry. Depending on the current state, you'll see options to either sync or unsync.
Entries that fall below a minimum duration threshold cannot be synced between Toggl Track and Jira.
