  1. Connection – This section displays the current connection status between Toggl Track and your Jira instance. If you need to disconnect for any reason, you can use the "Disconnect token" button here.

  2. Personal settings – These settings personalize your experience within the Jira and Toggl Track integration:

    • Ignore time entries where issue key was not detected – This option allows you to choose whether to disregard time entries that lack an associated Jira issue key. Selecting this option means such entries won't be considered for syncing.

    • Synchronize automatically – This setting, when enabled, automates the process of syncing your time entries between Toggl Track and Jira. You won't need to manually trigger the sync process every time.

      • How the synchronizing process works: The integration periodically checks for new or updated time entries in Toggl Track that meet the configured criteria and synchronizes them with your Jira work logs.

      • Time range for syncing: By default, the integration syncs the most recent time entries. It retrieves entries visible on the first result on the list view on Toggl Track Timer.

      • What time entries are synced? The integration prioritizes syncing based on the following criteria:

        1. Entries with a matching Jira issue key in the description field.

        2. Entries where the project name in Toggl Track matches the project name of a Jira issue in your workspace.

        3. Entries where the task name in Toggl Track matches the summary of a Jira issue in your workspace.

      • Minimum time threshold: Only entries with a duration of at least 1 minute are synced to Jira work logs. This aligns with Jira's minimum time logging requirement.

    • Issue tracking options are always displayed in glance view – Keeping this option enabled ensures that the Jira issue tracking features remain visible within the glance view of your time entries, providing easy access.

  3. Share tracking status – This section allows you to define which Toggl Track workspaces or projects you want to share your tracking data with other Jira instance users.
