Quickstart Guide

This 2-step guide will walk you through the key concepts you need to know to get started with Toggl Integration for Jira Cloud.

Step 1: Connect Toggl Integration

After installation, the first thing you need to do is integrate the Toggl Integration with Toggl Track, which is a web app service for time tracking. Toggl Integration for Jira allows users to use Toggl Track on Jira, with many other benefits.

You just need to open an issue in Jira, find the Toggl Integration section, and then paste the API token from your Toggl Track to enable the integration. For more information, please refer to the related documentation.

Step 2: Track Time with Toggl

With the integration set up, you can now track time directly in your Jira issues. The moment you start Toggl within Jira, a corresponding time entry is created in your Toggl Track account, featuring the issue key and summary. When you stop the timer, a detailed worklog is automatically added to the respective Jira issue. Then, you can effortlessly convert existing Toggl entries into Jira worklogs.
