How to remove all tasks in Bamboo Job using Bamboo Command Line Interface (CLI)
This article explains how to remove all tasks in a Bamboo Job using the Bamboo Command Line Interface (CLI) app.
Instructions
Use the runFromTaskList and removeTask actions to remove all the tasks from a Bamboo Job. Refer to the sample command as follows:
--action runFromTaskList --plan DEMO-TEST --job JOB1 --common "--action removeTask --id @taskId@ --plan @plan@ --job @job@ "
In the mentioned action:
- --plan value refers to the plan name in Bamboo.
- --job value refers to the job name in Bamboo.
- --id value refers to the Bamboo task id.
It is recommended to test the commands in a non-production environment or run the action with --simulate parameter to verify the behavior before deploying.
