TFS4JIRA Cloud Native | How to enable third party cookies in browsers

When trying to start TFS4JIRA Cloud Native application from Jira Cloud instance, users might receive the following error:

or the blue Configure button is not visible

The solution to the above issues is to enable third-party cookies in the used browser.

MOZILLA FIREFOX 108.0 or later

  1. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Preferences.

  2. Select the Privacy & Security panel.

     

  3. Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, select the Custom radio button.

  4. Either uncheck Cookies or choose one of the first two items in the Cookies dropdown (Cross-site tracking cookies or Cross-site tracking cookies, and isolate other cross-site cookies)

     

  5. Click Reload All Tabs (blue button)

SAFARI 16.1 or later

  1. On your Mac, choose Safari > Settings…, then click Privacy

  2. Uncheck: Block all cookies and Prevent cross-site tracking

  3. Reload Cloud Native Synchronizer - TFS4JIRA in JIRA.

GOOGLE CHROME 108.0 or later

  1. Click Customize and control Google Chrome button (the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the browser)

  2. In Settings window please go to Privacy and Security

  3. Open Cookies and other sites data section

  4. Choose Block third-party cookies in incognito or Allow all cookies

  5. Reload Cloud Native Synchronizer - TFS4JIRA in JIRA.

MICROSOFT EDGE 108.0 or later

  1. Click Settings and more button (3 dots in the upper right corner of the browser)

  2. Go to Cookies and site permissions

  3. Click Manage and delete cookies and site data

  4. Disable Block third-party cookies

  5. Reload Cloud Native Synchronizer - TFS4JIRA in JIRA.

OPERA 93.0 or later

  1. Click the Opera icon in the upper left corner of the application

  2. Click Settings from the menu

  3. Choose Privacy & security

  4. Set either Allow all cookies or Block third-party cookies in private mode

  5. Reload Cloud Native Synchronizer - TFS4JIRA in JIRA.
