Overview
In Vendor Total Users by Typearchived and App Users by Typearchived we had to perform calculations to estimate the variation in the number of users by type of sale. However, to indicate the total number of users we rely on Atlassian’s API, which already provides that number.
This gadget displays the current total number of users of a given app.
You can use App Distribution Dataarchived instead, to combine the information of the number of users, number of installations and number of downloads in a single gadget.
Configuration
Name your gadget meaningfully, so everyone knows at a glance what it is about and when to use it. Fill out the rest of the fields as applicable, namely:
The datasource, select a Marketplace datasource (see Add and manage datasources).
The vendor associated with the marketplace partner account.
The app you want the users data from.
Finally, indicate if you want to use the current settings for all the compatible gadgets in the dashboard. This option eases the pain of configuring one by one the rest of the gadgets with the same default configuration
