Automation for Jira Support

Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too? If you really love using the Automation for Jira tool but need the pure POWER that comes with running a SIL script we have good news, you can do both!

Running a SIL Script from Automation for Jira

  1. Go to Project automation from your project admin as you normally would for Automation for Jira.

  2. Click Create Rule

  3. Set your desired trigger (Issue transitioned for example)

  4. Click New action

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the action list or search for Power Scripts

  6. Select the SIL script you wish to run for this action from the silprograms folder

  7. That's it!
