Release Notes Version 3.5
What's new in this release
Support for epic links while creating or importing issues
Delegated Project Creator for Jira now allows you to add the epic links while creating new issues for an Issue Scheme. Also, when you import issues from a project, the epic links associated with the imported issues are retained after the import. To support the ability to add epic links to an issue, a new field Epic Link that aids in selecting an epic is added to the Create new issue window.
Also, a new column Epic Link is added to the Issue Scheme details page to help you view the epic link details of respective issues at a glance. For more details, refer to Manage issue schemes.
Ability to deactivate or activate a project template
Are you not using a project template for a long time and want to deactivate it for the time being? You can now do so using the toggle button from the newly added Active column in the Configure Project Template Settings page. This column displays if a project template is active or inactive as highlighted in the following image:
Once you set a project template status to inactive, it will no longer be listed in the Create new project from template window when creating a project using the Projects > Create Project From Template option. For more details, refer to Manage project templates.
While editing any inactive project template, keep in mind that the respective template with the latest changes cannot be used to create new projects until it is enabled.Â
All the projects created before setting a template to inactive mode will continue to function as required. The current inactive status has no impact on these previously created projects.
