Configuring shared channels

Overview

Using HelpDesk+ in shared channels in Slack is a great way to support your customers.

 

 

 

Adding to shared channels

  1. Navigate to the shared channel you want to use to support users.

  2. Type @helpdesk.

  3. Hit Enter.

  4. Click the button Add to Channel.

Configure request types for shared channel

  1. Locate the message Helpdesk+ has been added to this channel.

  2. Click the Configure button.

  3. Choose one or more request types or all from one or more service desks.

  4. Click Submit.

 

 

Using Organizations for grouping users

  1. Go to the Organizations section and choose an organization for this customer.

  2. Click Submit.
