WBS widget (App Configuration)

WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) provides an additional view within a Jira issue page. It includes an in-depth and customizable view of the task within the structure.

The WBS Widget is handy when accessing the App and seeing some of its functionalities inside your Jira projects without entering BigPicture. You can:

  • enable the WBS Widget on the Jira issue page

  • enable the WBS Widget even if an issue is not in any scope.

Enable WBS on issue page

Displays the WBS Widget on the Jira issue page above the “Activity” container (all Jira containers are just above it):

Enable WBS widget even if an issue is not in any scope

You can enable or disable the WBS widget even if an issue is not in any scope.

Maximum number of issues loaded

Set a limit of issues loaded in the WBS mini-module.

Jira Projects

You can enable the WBS Widget in all Jira Projects or for specific Jira Projects only. If you wish to toggle on selected Jira Projects manually, switch off the "Enable WBS in all Jira Projects" option. Use the search box to find your Jira Projects faster.

Jira Issue types

It is possible to enable the WBS Widget for all Issue types or the selected ones. If you wish to select the Issue types manually, switch off the "Enable WBS in all Issue types" option. Use the search box to find your Issue types faster.

Security and access

  • Only Jira administrators can access this page.

  • Click the "wrenchicon at the top right and select "Widgets" from the drop-down list. Next, go to the "WBS Widget" tab.
