Add the new Custom condition to your workflow transitions

Create on Transition for Jira cloud, version 1.2.0, introduces a new workflow condition, Custom condition, which controls if the user can execute the transition. Use powerful Jira expressions in the Expression field to create a custom condition. If the condition is not met, the user cannot view the next workflow status in the issue.

Evaluate the Jira expression in Conditioned validator and Custom condition

The app now offers the ability to verify the Jira expression used in a Conditioned Validator. A new Evaluate button, which when clicked validates the Jira expression, is added with the Expression field in the Configuration tab. This displays an error with what went wrong in your Jira expression allowing you to make the necessary corrections. 

Custom condition from the preceding section also provides this feature.

Create issue(s) across multiple projects using the Create issue post function

You can now create issue(s) in more than one project during a workflow transition. The Projects select-list in the Detailed Fields tab of the Create issue post function enables you to add multiple projects. One or more issues can be created in each project selected here.

See workflow transition logs in Jira issue view

Users can now see whether a workflow transition configured with a post function, is successful or not in Jira issue view. Issue transition history with the number of error logs is displayed to the right of the issue view in the Create on Transition section. Expand this to view more details.

Users can contact the administrator and share error details to know more about the error(s) and have them fixed. For more information, refer to Workflow post functions.
