User Preference Defaults

Users of the chat widget are able to set display preferences, to customize the way the widget shows information.

Defaults of these preferences can be set Jira-wide using the Chat User Preference Defaults page.

You can set the following defaults:

  • showing issue keys in conversation list and in the chat header
  • showing unresolved issues only
  • showing summaries instead of the last message in the conversation list and in the chat header instead of the "welcome message"
