User Onboarding

The User onboarding option is only implemented for new installations of the Comala Document Management app. It cannot be enabled for existing app installations.

When enabled on the initial installation of the Comala Document Management app, User Onboarding provides first-time users of Comala Document Management the option to access help in applying a review to a page.

There are also page hints for Comala Document Management functionality.

As long as the global onboarding setting is enabled, any user with any kind of permissions on any page is displayed the notification until the user clicks on Don’t remind me again.

Disable User Onboarding

You may want to disable the user onboarding for the first installation of Comala Document Management if your site has customized training for new users, or if links to external resources are not permitted in your environment.

This can be disabled for the new installation of the app using the User Onboarding checkbox option in the Comala Document Management global configuration screen
