Content reviews
Overview
Content reviews, or approvals, focus on approving or rejecting the content of a page or blog post.
A content review is specific to a workflow state. Several states in a workflow may have a content review
They are characterized by two buttons, Approve and Reject, in the workflow state dialog box. A space administrator can amend these default button names.
A content review can allow the assignment of one or more users as a reviewer. Depending on the workflow and the state, the reviewers can be:
Manually assigned using the workflow state dialog box
Pre-assigned by the workflow
If no reviewers are assigned, the content transitions to a destination state configured in the added workflow upon an approval decision.
If more than one user is assigned as a reviewer, the reviewers must agree on the Approve and Reject decision for the workflow transition to occur.
Reviewer credentials
In the Quality Management Systems workflow, an e-signature requirement is enabled for all the workflow content reviews. Each reviewer is prompted in the workflow popup to set up a personal code to authenticate their identity using a third-party app.
This is a one-time setup for a user in the instance allowing the third-party app to be used to generate time-limited tokens for identity authentication.
