Remove Approval - Page Tools

When the Approvals workflow is added and applied to an individual page, it can be removed by choosing the Page Tools menu:

Appears on pages and blog posts:

  • only when the Approval is added to an individual page - space approval is disabled
  • only for users who can edit or admin the content

Approval History

Before removing the Approval, you are given the option to choose to remove all the approval history for the page/blog post or retain this history for future reference:



Once you choose OK, the approval workflow is removed from the page of blog post.

(info) If Remove Approval activity history is checked will also remove workflow content properties and metadata from the content as well as removing all workflow history from the Approval Report.

The option to Remove Approval is only available when there is no space approval enabled.
