Assigning Reviewers

Overview

In content reviews you will be able to assign, reassign and unassign reviewers.

Look for the + Add reviewer button next to the Approve and Reject buttons:

Assigning a reviewer

  • In the Review state, choose the status indicator circle
  • When the popup appears, select + Add reviewer button

You will be presented with a search screen. Type inside the search bar to find the user to assign, you can search by full nameusername, or email address or select from the contributors suggested by Comala Document Approval

Assigning a reviewer

When you have found the user you are looking for, click the check box on the right to assign them to the review:

This indicates the user is assigned

You have the option of recording the role performed by the approver, which will be noted in the Page Activity report. After typing or selecting a role, hit Enter or click outside the text box before clicking the blue Assign button.

If you need to leave a note for the reviewer, use the 'add a note' text box. The user will see this in a notification and an email.

Saving changes

To save the assignment of the reviewer, click the blue Assign button. You will see the assignee on the popup:

If you are viewing the page and have been assigned to the review, you will also see a change in the status indicator circle. This will be displayed as a filled circle indicating you are assigned to undertake the approval.

Unassigning reviewers

To reassign or unassign reviewers, return to the assignment search screen in the pop-up. Choose the  plus button, or the reviewer avatar.

Unassign

Hover over the grey tick check box   and it will turn to blue . Click it.

Choose the Unassign button to remove the reviewer.

The approval can now be undertaken by any user with Edit permission for the page or blog.
