Overview

Due to functional differences between Because the cloud and server platforms , we are not able to deliver 1:1 work differently, they can't have the same features. Exact feature parity between the environments . But we are committed to a cloud experience that offers the same end result as that found in server - effective control and management of documentation.

...

is not possible.

For this reason, it is not possible to use the migration tool to migrate your existing Comala workflows from server.

...

Because of these functional differences, the Atlassian Migration Assistant cannot migrate existing workflows from the server instance.

After installing the Comala Document Management for Cloud app and manually create the Comala workflows , you can use

  • one of the bundled workflows

  • manually create a workflow in your cloud instance

  • import one or more workflow

The server and data center apps include a tool, the Workflow Translator for Cloud, to translate the hosted Confluence app workflow to a cloud-compatible workflow. The translated workflow template code can be copied and pasted into the workflow builder code editor in a space document management dashboard in the Confluence Cloud app.
