Add and remove permission to manage/view Octo

Permissions to manage or view Octo are assigned at the global level. To edit this permission, you need to be a Jira Administrator.

Add Octo permission

1. Go to Jira > Settings > System > Global permissions.

2. At the bottom of the page, in the Grant Permission section, select the appropriate permission from the Grant field drop-down.

3. Select the appropriate group to assign them to. For more information, see: Manage groups | Atlassian Support.

4. Click Add.

Remove Octo permissions

1. Go to Jira > Settings > System > Global permissions.

2. In the list of permissions find Manage components in Octo or View components in Octo together with a list of groups to whom this permission is granted.

3. Click Delete in the group you want to remove permission from.

4. Confirm removal of the group from this permission.
