Multi-select

Introduction

You can multi-select Boxes or tasks using CTRL+left click (or CMD on Mac). Once selected, the list of tasks will be highlighted in blue. You can, for example, drag-and-drop it them between other tasks to move the list.

A notification will be displayed if the operation is partially successful or unsuccessful.

Multi-select is supported by the following modules:

  • Overview

  • Gantt

Possible actions

Depending on the type of tasks selected, you will be able to perform different operations listed below:

  • parent task with all its children:

    • organize

    • create/delete baseline

    • change scheduling mode

    • delete

    • change color

  • all children from the same parent, not including the parent task: 

    • outdent

    • create/delete baseline

    • change scheduling mode 

    • delete

    • change color

  • selected children from one parent, not including the parent task: 

    • move up/down 

    • indent, outdent

    • create/delete baseline

    • change scheduling mode 

    • delete

    • change color

  • multiple children from different parent tasks, not including the parent tasks:

    • create/delete baseline

    • change scheduling mode

    • delete

    • change color

  • multiple parent tasks without children:

    • organize children

    • create/delete baseline

    • change scheduling mode

    • delete

    • change task color

  • at least one task + one milestone

    • convert multiple to milestones/tasks

  • a parent task with no children

    • select all children

    • organize children

    • create/delete baseline

    • change scheduling mode

    • create dependency

    • delete
