Security and roles - Access to BigPicture
BigPicture roles
There are two kinds of BigPicture roles.
App roles
Necessary for access to the BigPicture app.
Based on an app role, a user can:
access the app
access and manage app settings
Box roles
Necessary for access to boxes.
Based on box roles:
a user can access particular boxes
perform actions in boxes
access and manage box settings
monday.com roles
monday.com role | BigPicture access | Description |

Admin | monday.com admins always have full access to the BigPicture app. They are treated as BigPicture Admins, even if the role hasn’t been assigned to them. However, they are not listed as BigPicture app admins unless they have been assigned the role. | |
Member | Members can be granted access to BigPicture. BigPicture-specific roles need to be assigned to those users. App roles:

Viewer | Viewers and Guests do NOT have access to the BigPicture app. BigPicture app handles the Viewers and Guests as normal Resources and displays their information:
