Scope misconfiguration - corrupted scope
Once all the issues are addressed, clear the log by clicking the Clear log button within the Warning Log dialog. Even if issues are addressed, the dialog box does NOT disappear until the log is cleared.
Causes of scope misconfiguration
The error appears when the current scope definition of a box cannot be implemented because:
A scope element (board) ceased to exist.
A project included in the box scope was archived.
A scope owner no longer has permission to access at least one of the scope elements.
A scope owner is no longer active (the user account in the connected tool was disabled).
Private/shareable boards:
A scope owner lost access to a private or shareable board.
If a private or shareable board is added to the box’s scope and you can’t access it, you don’t see the real board name in the scope definition settings.
The error can occur when:
Permissions or settings were changed in the external tool - the scope used to function properly, but now it is corrupted.
A scope element (board) was deleted. Tasks from a deleted project are no longer displayed in modules. The problem is indicated in red on the Scope definition page.
You are trying to define the scope of a box - in such a case, if there are any problems, after clicking Save, you see the message that the scope is properly configured.
Automatic rules check
You cannot access the box configuration page if a box has the closed status.
To fix a problem with automatic rules:
Click the Scope Settings button.
or
Navigate to the Box configuration page.
Go to Tasks > Scope definition.
Verify Automatic rules.
The problem is indicated in red.
If the incorrect box scope does NOT allow you to load the box, you can access the box configuration from the Overview module.
Make sure all added boards, filters, and projects still exist.
