Restarting the SIL Engine in Jira Cloud

 

Problem

The SIL Manager may hang, fail to load, or displays the message Please start your engine under the "Actions" section here. If this doesn’t help, please contact us on the support page.

Background

Your connection to the server sometimes needs to be refreshed.

Solution - Restart the SIL Engine

To restart the SIL Engine in Jira Cloud:

  1. In the left sidebar, click the Self Help. The Self Help page opens.

  2. Click Restart.

  3. In the confirmation dialog, click Restart again.

  4. Wait for the progress bar is complete.

Clear the Browser Cache

If the issue persists, clear your browser cache or use an incognito window.
