Restarting the SIL Engine in Jira Cloud

Problem

Does the SIL Manager hang or not load? Perhaps you see an error message such as the following:

Background

Sometimes the your connection to the Anova Apps server needs to be refreshed.

Solution - Restart the SIL Engine

To restart the SIL Engine in the cloud, type gg, then select "SIL Engine Mgmt" (alternatively, click on Apps, then "Manage Your Apps". Find and click on the "SIL Engine Mgmt" link on the left-hand side).

  1. Click on "Reconfigure VM" button.

  2. Wait for a couple minutes.

  3. Click on "Restart VM" button.

Clearing the Browser Cache

Sometimes the browser cache needs to be refreshed.

  • Try clearing the browser cache.

  • Try using incognito mode.

Check That Your Browser Is Supported

Power Scripts for Jira Cloud does not yet support Safari.
