How to use separators to define a Summary with Create Linked Subtask
While creating subtasks with a post function, it’s helpful to define them with a different summary for each one. This article illustrates the wrong way of doing it, followed by the correct way.
Appending/Prepending with a separator will NOT work while creating a Linked Subtask.
The solution above will not work. It will simply copy the Summary and skip the prepend text.
First, copy the Summary field with the overwrite option and then add ‘empty’ to Summary with prepending.
This allows JSU to set a Summary first, and then add your text either appended or prepended.
