This routine is available starting with SIL Engine 4.8.0.4.

Syntax

admUpdateFilter(JFilter)

Description

Update one ore more attributes for the provided filter.

Parameters

Parameter name	Type	Required	Description
filterName	string	Yes	The name of the filter.

Return type

boolean

Returns true if the filter was updated. False otherwise.

Example

JFilter filter;
filter.id=10405;
filter.name = "Updatedname";
filter.description = "New Description";
filter.query = "project=TEST AND assignee=admin";
filter.owner = "admin";
boolean a = admUpdateFilter(filter);
runnerLog("Filter updated? "+ a + "\n" +
		  "The update filter is: "+ admGetFilterById("10405"));

The filter can be partially updated by specifying only the attribute needed to be updated in the JFilter structure.
