Other known limitations that effect Power Scripts support for Jira Product Discovery.

SIL Aliases panel

Because of the masking of the Product Discovery field information that are not currently 100% compatible with the SIL Aliases panel within the SIL Manager. This panel is not able to access the fields specific to Product Discovery when retrieving the list of custom fields from Jira. Currently, the SIL Aliases panel is designed to updated the sil.aliases file when additions or removals are made through the panel. It does this by rewriting the entire file with the data from the interface. As a consequence, any Product Discovery fields added to the sil.aliases file will be overwritten by the UI panel and some scripts may stop working as a result.

One solution to this could be to just schedule the SIL script periodically so any missing aliases are added back in. The script will not create any duplicates and it is designed to keep running despite any failures so it can be rerun multiple times without causing any harm to existing aliases.
