Checking on the Status of your Project Request (2.8)

If an Administrator has given you the Request New Projects permission , then you can submit a request to have a new project created and can follow the procedure below to determine the status any of your outstanding requests.

Viewing outstanding project requests

To view the status of any outstanding project request, click your avatar in the top right corner of any JIRA screen and choose My Project Requests to view the My Requests page.

From the My Requests page,

  • Click View to view the details of any request, including any comments that a project approver may have provided. If the request has been completed, you will see a note to that effect at the top of the screen:

  • If the request has been completed, be sure to scroll to the end of the screen, as the project approver may have created the project with a different name or project key than you had originally requested.

  • If the request has not yet been completed, you can add a comment to the project approver by filling in the Comments box at the top of the screen and clicking Add comment.
