This version, released on Nov 27, 2023, brings the following changes:

Updated Options for Conditions and Validators

Several new options have been added to several Conditions and Validators, including:

• Conditional scope added to Build-your-own (scripted) Validator. This extension can now be configured to only execute under specific circumstances.

• Description fields added to both Build-your-own (scripted) Validator and Build-your-own (scripted) Condition. The description will be included in the list of conditions for the transition and in the Workflow Extensions administration page.

• Reverse conditions added to both the User Condition and User Validator; execute the condition or validator only if the configured criteria is false.

Duplicate Actions

Copy Shared Action

This version includes the ability to duplicate actions (pictured, right) - Shared Actions, Scheduled Actions, and Event-based Actions can now be duplicated with a click! You can now create variations on existing actions quickly and efficiently.

Other Improvements

This release includes other updates and improvements:

• Support links for documentation and support requests have been moved to a new menu beside the JMWE logo (pictured, right).

• Event-based actions support a greater range of system events, including Issue Moved, Issue Assigned, Issue Resolved, Issue Closed, and Issue Reopened events. Additionally, the Work Started on Issue and Work Stopped on Issue events can now trigger an Event-based Action if those events are added to a transition. See Event-based Actions for more information.

• Comment visibility can now be controlled when adding comments during the Create Issue(s) post-function.

• The custom Nunjucks filter roleMembers has been updated to enable or disable returning inactive Jira users in its result. See Custom Filters for more information.
