Return to Previous Status

A workflow post-function that moves an issue back to its previous status (the status it had before its current status).
Note: This post-function will only succeed if there is a transition available from the issue’s current status to the destination status (the previous status). If it is never possible to transition an issue between the issue’s current status and its previous status (even manually), this post-function will fail.
To add the 'Return to Previous Status' post-function to a transition:
Click Edit for the workflow that has the transition you wish to add the post-function on.
In the Workflow Designer, select the transition.
Click Post Functions in the properties panel.
Click Add post function.
Select Return to Previous Status from the list of post-functions.
Click Add to navigate to the Return to Previous Status post-function screen where you can add configuration details to the post-function. See below for configuration details.
Click Add to add the post-function to the transition.
After adding the post-function, move the post-function to the appropriate position according to Placing post-functions in a transition document.
Run As
Select one of the following to set the user triggering the transition:
Conditional execution
Delayed execution
