What's New in this Release

Priority scheme support is here!

Delegated project administrators can now configure the priority scheme for a project in both Guided Path and Self-Service modes. This option is available for delegated project administrators from Jira 7.6 onwards. The following images highlight the newly added option for priority schemes in various screens within the app:

  • Admin Page — Select Who to Empower
On the Select Who to Empower screen, you will now see a new check-box for Priority Schemes in the list of schemes under the Basic "Guided Path" section. You'll also notice a new Priorities column has been added to the Full "Self-Service" section to give edit permissions for priorities. For more information about these options, refer to Selecting Who To Empower.

  • Admin Page — Select What to Delegate
On the Select What to Delegate screen, there is now an option to define which priority schemes are available under Basic "Guided Path" Settings. For more information about configuring the priority schemes that are selectable, refer to Priority Scheme in Guided Path.

  • Project Administration page — Guided Path mode
A new Priorities tab is now visible in Guided Path mode, allowing the Project Administrator to select the appropriate priority scheme for their project. Learn more about adjusting priority schemes in Guided Path mode
