How to Allow Sound Permission

For the sound to function properly, you should allow sound permission for the Jira website in your browser. Here’s how to do that for some popular internet browsers:
Google Chrome
Go to the URL bar where your Jira URL is shown, and click the Lock icon.
In the drop-down menu, click Site Settings.
On the settings page, click the drop-down next to Sound, and select Allow.
Click the Reload button on your original tab.
When you click the lock icon again, you’ll notice that Sound is showing Allow.
Mozilla Firefox
Go to Firefox Settings.
Click Privacy & Security in the sidebar and scroll down to the Permissions section.
Click the Settings button next to Autoplay.
From the Default for all websites drop-down menu, select Allow Audio and Video.
Reload the Jira page.
Go to Microsoft Edge Settings.
Click Cookies and Site Permissions in the sidebar.
Scroll down to Media autoplay and click it.
From the drop-down menu, select Allow.
Reload the Jira page.
