Delete a task

Overview

You can delete a task without completing it.

Select the task to delete

Open the Tasks dialog box to display the task list.

Hold the pointer over the task you want to delete, then choose Delete task icon.

Use the Delete option to remove the task.

Before choosing Delete, you can add an optional note if you want to record any context details about your decision.

When you're ready, choose Delete to remove the task.

Notifications and reporting

Depending on the app configuration, anyone assigned to the task or watching the page receives notifications to let them know of the changes (including any added notes). This configuration is set in the space and global administration guides. 

Details of the changes will also be stored in the Activity Report - Content.
