Integration process
Step 1: Review documentation and make a plan
Review documentation in the Vendor Integration Corner. Learn more about the Integration types available and review the specific steps necessary for your app (based on hosting type and specific app data and configurations):
Server/DC apps: If you have a Jira Server/DC app, review the Integration for server-to-server app data migration page.
Cloud apps: If you have a Jira Server/DC app and the relevant Cloud app, review the Integration for server-to-cloud app data migration page.
Step 2: Estimate effort and time to complete integration
Estimate the level of effort and timeline for completion based on the development integration steps necessary for the integration type you want to achieve.
Step 3: Notify Appfire of integration plans
Notify Appfire of your plans to integrate and the integration timeline by contacting Appfire's support team.
Step 4: Complete integration tasks
Add integration tasks to an upcoming sprint. Complete integration work and contact Appfire’s support team with any questions along the process.
Step 5: Validate the integration
Validate the integration by migrating your app’s global configuration and data from one Jira instance to another with an evaluation license of Configuration Manager for Jira (CMJ). The Integration types document explains the validation process in more detail.
Step 6: Notify Appfire of successful integration
Notify Appfire of successfully integrated apps and share the good news with your customers. Appfire can provide promotional templates, so just contact our support team.
