Assets Integration

Reports and Timesheets for Jira and Timesheets for Jira app integrate with Assets in Jira Service Management. This integration further extends the capabilities of asset and configuration management in the Jira Cloud and Data Center to visualize the required asset data for actionable insights in your reports.

Easily create and customize report views that include service requests, incidents, and other key metrics linked to your assets and configuration items.
To create a report with the Assets custom field, refer to the Jira Issues by Assets object.

The Reports and Timesheets for Jira app enables users to configure all available report types for Asset object custom fields, other than the Agile and Trend report types.

Pre-requisite to use Assets:

To use Assets for the Jira Cloud, you need to have Jira Service Management Cloud Premium or Enterprise. For more information, refer to Assets in Jira Service Management.
To use Assets for the Jira Data Center, you need to install Jira Service Management Data Center 4.15 or above. For more information, refer to Assets for Jira Service Management Data Center.

Pre-requisite to create reports using Assets custom fields
