Upgrade to the latest Atlassian release of the Jira software version 9.4.11, 9.10.2, 9.11.1 or higher, which includes the MySQL 8.x fix, and the ActiveObjects library upgraded to version 5.0.3. Refer to Issues resolved in 9.4.11.

Manage Report Owners

Reports and Timesheets for Jira enable administrators to change report ownership. To perform this action, you need Jira administrator privileges.

  1. Log in as a Jira administrator.

  2. To manage reports, navigate to Administration > Manage Report Owners.

If you are not a Jira administrator or you do not have administration privileges, then you will see the following error message. Work with your Jira administrator to update these settings.

The Manage Report Owners screen displays the sequence of steps to transfer reports ownership.

  • Select reports: In this step, you select the reports to transfer ownership. Refer to Step 1 - Select reports.

  • Overview: The overview step provides a quick preview of the selected reports before proceeding to the next step. Refer to Step 2 - Overview.

  • Choose a new owner: Choose a new owner to whom you want to transfer the ownership of the reports. Refer to Step 3 - Choose owner.

  • Summary: Displays the list of reports transferred to the new owner. Refer to Step 4 - Summary.
