Target announcements to specific project role(s) in Jira

Announcer Series for Jira 3.1 now allows you to target your announcements to selected roles in a project. In the advanced edit options of the Announcement editor window, after you select a specific project(s), you see a new Filter for specific Project Role option where you can:

1. select the checkbox, and
2. select the roles specific to the respective project(s) as required

The respective announcement is displayed only to the users with the specified project role(s). This helps you to filter the announcements further and target only the required audience with your announcements.
