Locations

This guide explains how to manage locations for your assets. Locations help you track the physical whereabouts of your assets.

Add a location

1. Navigate to Assets > Settings > Locations.

   Open

   

2. Click Create location.

3. Fill in the fields.

   Open

   

   Is active? – You can uncheck this when a location is no longer available, but you still want to keep it in your system.
   Is External – Check this if the location is not managed by your company.

4. Click Save.

The location you’ve created will appear in the Location menu on the Create asset and Update asset screens.
