Collections global viewer

The collections global viewer is accessed from the Confluence header menu bar.

The My Collections side bar For the current user, the viewer will display a list of all collections in the instance.

For the current user, the viewer will allow display the content of a chosen snapshot document in a collection

To view the PDF or HTML content, the current the user is the creator of the collection (user is the collection manager) or has either

The content for a selected snapshot document in a collection is displayed in HTML format. You can choose to view in PDF format and if required download a snapshot document version as a PDF.

The viewer also includes the snapshot document metadata

The View option in the snapshot publishing popup on a Confluence page with an existing snapshot can also be used to open the collections global viewer.

Snapshot document

The snapshot document selected in the My Collections menu is listed under each collection it has been added to.

HTML view

The currently selected snapshot document displayed in the viewer isndisplayed by default in HTML format.

The latest snapshot document version is displayed . Previous snapshot versions (if present) can viewed using the version drop down menu.

PDF view

Choose the View as PDF button in HTML view to view the snapshot in PDF format.

The PDF document can be downloaded.

Choose View as HMTL to toggle the format view.

Snapshot document metadata

Metadata for a selected snapshot document is displayed in the My Collections menu.

  • snapshot version

  • Confluence page version (of the source document for the snapshot version)

  • snapshot creator (name of collection contributor for this snapshot)

  • snapshot creation date

  • link to source Confluence page (latest version)

  • Confluence source space
