Goal
This section shows instructions for adding a Confluence Page Template, or hierarchy of pages to be used as Page Component Templates to instantiate later.Â
Pre-requisites
This tutorial was written considering that :
- you have a Gaia Activity for Jira and Gaia Page Extension for Confluence installed and running on your server;
- you have a Confluence file to be used as a template (see How to create your Confluence Space Template file);
First, select your existing Activity Template
1. From the Activity Menu item in Jira top menu bar, select Manage templates
2. Select the Activity Template you wish to modify, either by clicking on its name, or or the Update button on the far right side.
3. Click on the Edit button next to the Activity Components section
Note that you may also modify the Activity Template information, such as its name and description.Â
4. Click on the + button to add a new Component, select Page Template as component type, and then select the component template from the second column.
You may then click Apply to validate your choice.
What's next
You can now add as many templates as needed. Go to the Creation your Confluence Space Template file
