Quick create Jira issues

Overview

Emojis are an easy way to interact with Jira from Slack.

  • Use 🐛 to create a new issue from a single message.

  • Use 📷 to capture a thread of messages.

  • You can assign additional emojis to issue types globally or per channel.

Prerequisites

  • You need to invite the bot to your channel to use this feature.

Adding 🐛 to create an issue

  1. Find a message in Slack.

  2. React with the :bug: emoji 🐛.

  3. Click Create Issue.

  4. Create your issue.

We will automatically attach files to your issue if the message in Slack includes a file.
