You can capture select messages within Slack and add them to issues in Jira to help keep information in sync.

Prerequisites
You must invite the bot to the channel.
Capture threads to Jira
Make sure you invite the bot to your channel.
Find a thread in your Slack channel.
Type Jira capture.
Choose if you want to create a new issue or add to an existing issue.
Adding 📷 to capture a thread
Find a message with a thread in Slack.
Add the 📷 emoji to the top message.
Choose if you want to create a new issue or add to an existing issue.
Select which messages you want to add to the issue.
Using the📍emoji to capture a select message
Find a thread with a ticket number in the header.
If there is a message you want to capture in the comments of the Jira ticket, place the📍emoji on the message, and the message will be saved to the Jira ticket.
