Displaying issues on the OKR Overview
This page is about OKR for Jira Cloud. Using Data Center? Click here.
Want to view the Jira issues linked to key results (both manual and automated) directly on the OKR Overview structure? You can use the Display the issues connected to the OKRs matching applied filters feature. This will enable you to easily observe the connection between the work being done (including its status) and the OKRs without needing to access each KR’s detail view or Jira.
To display issues on the OKR Overview board:
From the side bar menu, go to the app's Settings and then General settings.
Find the Display connected issues in the OKR Overview option and switch it on. This will turn it on for everyone using the app.
Once it’s enabled, go to the OKR Overview to view the issues.
What to expect:
It might take a few minutes for your Jira issues to sync.
Once synced, you'll see them listed below each key result, like a mini to-do list for each goal.
You can use the search bar to find specific issues or key results.
Each issue shows its status (in the Status column) and who's assigned (in an additional column) to it.
You can filter the issues by status or assignee for a clearer view.
Want to hide the issues?
Even if the display of issues is enabled in the settings and they are visible to everyone, individuals still have the flexibility to choose whether or not to view them. The option to turn on/off issue visibility for your own view can be found in the Filtering Options > Display the issues connected to the OKRs matching applied filters.
