Overview

Space publishing publishes all the unsynced pages in the source space to the target space. A space publishing action by a space administrator can be filtered only to publish pages in the final state of the applied workflow. You can use the publishing report to publish unsynced pages in the workflow’s final state.

This option lets you create and approve your page content using an applied workflow before enabling publishing. You can undertake a space publishing action to publish the approved pages in the final workflow state, excluding pages in a draft state.

Space publishing of all the pages in the workflow final state

A space administrator can configure the space to publish only pages in the workflow's final state using the space publishing option.

The space administrator filters the Publish space action by making active the Only publish pages if they are in the final state of the workflow setting.

When active, publishing all the pages in the space using the Space publish option only publishes source pages in the workflow’s final state and not synced.

Pages not in the final state of the workflow are not published.

Publishing from the publishing report

You can also choose to publish all the pages in the workflow final state using the publishing report Publish option when the Workflow in final state + Not Synced report filter is applied.

Only the source space pages in the filtered report are published. These are pages in the workflow’s final state and not synced.

The Workflow in final state filter is only displayed when a workflow is applied to at least one page in the space.
