No Jira Project Bound to this Connection Error in the Connector for Salesforce & Jira App

Problem

Since the Connector uses an Integration user to make changes in Jira, it requires an active account. If this is deactivated, the integration, although configured properly, won’t be able to create or synchronize information from Salesforce to Jira because the integration user can’t create or modify anything on Jira.

Solution

Confirm who’s your integration user by going to Jira → Apps → Salesforce → Settings and confirm who the user is. You can refer to the image below for this:

After the user is confirmed, the next step is to ensure that the user has the right permissions, as shown here. If the user has permission for the bound projects, the next step is to make sure that the user is active on the User management search for the integration user and make sure that it is active.

If integration user is inactive as shown in the image below, to make it active again by going into Edit option a screens would pop and show the active checkbox unchecked, as shown in the image below, then it is necessary to check it and update.

This should fix the issue, if the issue persists, please get in touch with Support.
