Adding issues to the release
To track your release progress you need to add issues to the release first.
The quickest and easiest way how to add issues to the version (release) is from the release report in Swanly. You can also add issues to the release from the issue detail in Jira using the Fix version field.
How to add issues to the release in Swanly
Go to Apps > Swanly roadmaps > Release view.
Open the release report by clicking on the release name on the roadmap or on the list view.
In the release report in the Issues in version section, click +Add issue.
Create a new issue or choose an existing one.
After you save the issue will be linked to the release.
How to add issues to the release from Jira's issue detail
In Jira, open the issue details.
On the left side of the issue detail, click Show more fields.
In the Fix version field, select the release you want this issue to be linked to and click save.
The issue is now linked to the release.
If you can’t find the Fix version field in the Jira issue detail you might not have this field configured in the issue scheme you use.
