Bulk Change Issues

The issues displayed by the Rich Filter Results gadget can be modified in bulk directly from the gadget. The Bulk change issues... () button is located on the gadget footer. This lets you edit, move, transition, delete, watch, or stop watching multiple issues in one operation. 

Open

1. Click the Bulk change issues... button to go to the Bulk Operation screen.

2. Select the issues you want to work with and click Next.

3. Select the operation you want to perform and click Next.

   Open

   

4. Define the details for your operation and click Next.

5. Click Confirm.

Bulk change limits

By default, Jira limits the maximum number of issues that can be bulk changed to 1000 to prevent server overload. This limit can be modified by editing the configuration settings or your Jira instance. The property limiting the number of issues that can be bulk modified is jira.bulk.edit.limit.issue.count.
