Introducing Delegated Project Creator for Jira cloud

Teams using Jira cloud can now avail Delegated Project Creator for Jira cloud to enable their trusted users to request or create new Jira projects based on admin-defined project templates. Administrators can configure and manage most commonly required project templates that can be used in creating new projects.

The app enables administrators to:

  • Configure project templates

  • Empower users and groups to request or create new projects using admin-defined project templates

  • Customize as many project templates as needed by selecting various workflow schemes, priority schemes, field configuration schemes and more.. 

  • Define and manage issue schemes to pre-populate new projects with relevant issues

  • View detailed history of all requested and created projects

  • Standardize project settings across teams

  • Disable or enable project templates to suit the requirement as needed

Once an administrator grants the required permissions, users can:

  • Request a new project based on admin-defined templates

  • Create a new project based on admin-defined templates

  • Approve project requests from other users
